HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts are short workouts that you do at a high intensity. You’ll keep your heart rate up the entire time while strengthening your whole body. HIIT workouts are great for many of us who are working from home due to the coronavirus because you can easily fit a 20 minute workout during your day and it requires no equipment.
It’s a really efficient workout and a great way to condition your body in preparation for summer outdoor adventures.
For beginners, work your way up to 3 sets of this circuit (do each of these exercises in succession, then repeat 2 more times). For a more challenging workout, aim to do 5 sets. You should be able to finish this workout in 20-30 minutes depending on how many sets you do.
